Progress Kashandula brings over 16 years of professional experience, with more than 13 years in the biomass industry. He has held senior leadership roles in sustainable bush harvesting, biomass production, processing, and utilisation projects. Previously, he served as Operations Manager for Namibia’s pioneering bush-to-energy initiative Energy for Future at Ohorongo Cement, and as General Manager of the Debushing Advisory Service under the MEFT/GIZ Bush Control and Biomass Utilisation Project.

He is a member of the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) Agriculture Skills Committee, representing forestry with a focus on bush biomass activities, and has been instrumental in advancing capacity building within Namibia’s biomass sector. With a background in business and marketing, complemented by a master’s in leadership and Change Management from Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), Progress offers extensive expertise in strategic and operational management. He currently oversees the implementation of N-BiG’s strategic business plan, guiding the organisation's vision and the direction of the biomass industry at large.
