Bio360 Africa 2026 · Conferences

Conferences designed to move markets, not just fill agendas.

Bio360 Africa’s conference programme is built around the themes shaping Africa’s emerging bioeconomy: biogas, biochar, clean cooking, biomass CHP, energy from waste, landfill gas and liquid biofuels. Expect practical sessions, focused tracks and room for solution-driven discussion.

3 parallel conference tracks

3 parallel conference tracks will address the pressing topics and issues of the day, to turn bioenergy potential into deployable solutions.

Track 1 · FYNBOS room

Project pathways

Biogas-focused sessions exploring practical project development pathways across agricultural, industrial and municipal sectors - from feedstock mobilisation and yield optimisation to next-generation technologies, agri-residue valorisation, industrial effluent treatment, clean cooking integration and the role of biogas within Africa’s just energy transition.

Track 2 · BAOBAB room

Technology & market application

Sessions exploring the emergence of Africa’s biochar and bio-based carbon economy - from building credible and investable carbon projects to scaling production pathways, industrial applications and regenerative agriculture opportunities, alongside discussions on liquid biofuels and practical market development across the continent.

Track 3 · KAROO room

Showcases & hands-on sessions

Practical sessions focused on deployable biomass and waste-to-energy solutions for African conditions - including biomass for industrial heat and power generation, landfill gas recovery, waste-to-energy pathways and pellet-based energy systems aimed at supporting defossilised, locally sourced energy production.
