BIO360 AFRICA 2026 - Intervenants - Mpendulo Ginindza

Mpendulo Ginindza is a sustainability and circular economy leader with 18 years of experience in waste management, resource recovery and environmental governance across more than 12 African countries.

She is Chief Executive Officer of Green Forest Solutions Eswatini and Chair of the ISWA Africa Regional Chapter Advisory Board. Her work focuses on circular economy implementation, extended producer responsibility, sustainable financing and institutional development.

A Registered Professional Natural Scientist, Mpendulo holds a Master of Philosophy in Sustainable Development from Stellenbosch University and is a Fellow and Past President of the Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA). She has worked extensively with governments, industry, municipalities, producer responsibility organisations and development partners to strengthen waste management systems and accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

Her expertise spans waste policy, environmental governance, resource recovery, risk management, stakeholder engagement and sustainable business models. She has contributed to regional and international initiatives through ISWA, G20 processes and global discussions on circular economy, plastics management and waste-to-energy policy.
