Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years experience in the Energy system development sector of Namibia. Part of the team that led the development from feasibility to implementation under Namibia's Power Utility, NamPower (Namibia Power Corporation (Pty) Ltd) project portfolio as the 40MW Otjikoto Biomass Power Station. Currently managing and overseeing the fuel supply and sustainability developments of this biomass power project, Namibia's first Biomass Power Station, currently under construction in the Oshikoto region, northern Namibia. The project is subscribing to FSC International sustainability standards to honour donor and lender requirements, from (Mitigation Action Facility (MAF), and French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM), and the French development Bank, AfD). Sam specialized in Engineering Management, as well as Business Analytics and Big Data - with a keen interest in Business intelligence systems with a focus on data driven decision making.
